Introduction

The Communication Engineering Group at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, is part of Electrical Engineering Department and offers graduate degrees at the Master's and PhD level. At present, it has 10 full-time faculty members and more than 50 graduate students in two major fields of study: communication systems and electromagnetic fields. This group started in 1372 (1996).

The EE department at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad offers majors in communication, control, electronics, and power engineering. The department currently has more than 25 full-time faculty members, around 200 graduate students and over 650 undergraduate students. The department started in 1354 (1975) and, to this date, has graduated over 2500 students.
